Custom Cruiser Set Up

This Cruiser was delivered as a cab chassis and was sent back with the complete package! Some awesome elements on this one including; aluminium hard top canopy and mesh security doors featuring foot holes for roof access and overlayed with canvas sides for weather protection, heavy duty aluminium tray with checker-plate flooring and inbuilt headboard water tank, spare wheel mount under the tray with swing away gate, under tray tool boxes for dual battery set up and roof bars. 

Service truck fabrication and fit out

In this latest project, Custom Engineering and Design were engaged to fabricate and fit out a service truck for an earth moving company. The truck arrived as a flat tray and left with a hard top lockable canopy complete with sliding drawers, shelves, interior lighting, oil drum bunting, fuel tank housed in a rear cage compartment & tie rails on roof for extra storage space.

outboard boat motor mounted to vehicle & roof racks

Custom Engineering & Design were approached to design and build a unique mount to secure an outboard boat motor to the rear of a customer's vehicle. The mount was required to be strong enough to hold a large 4 stroke motor and withstand a long and rough trip to the Cape, as well as being able to swing to allow access to the rear of the vehicle's canopy. CE&D chose to use aluminium for the mount to ensure the design was lightweight and weather resistant. The addition of 3 new roof racks, to carry the boat, were designed to cater for the existing storage requirements already on the roof including solar panels and camping equipment. Like the motor mount, the roof racks were designed to be strong, lightweight and weather resistant.
